What is the selection process?

Fortuna staff will screen your profile and will contact you if and when there is suitable job opening. In many cases, there will be a face to face interview with the Polish employer or you will face a Skype or telephonic interview. Trade tests will also be conducted for certain jobs.

What is the monthly salary for skilled worker?

Monthly salary for a skilled worker ranges from EUR 450 to EUR 1200 depends on the job category. This information will be provided to you before processing your application.

What are my working hours?

According to Poland Labor Law and employment guide issued for 2018, working time in Poland should not exceed 8 hours per day and average of 40 hours per an average five-day working week. For the work performed in excess of the working time standards employee is entitled to an allowance.

What is the entitlement for Annual Leave and Sick Leave?

An employee in Poland is entitled to an annual paid vacation leave amounting 20 days and 33 days sick leave in general.

What is the type of Visa issued?

Type D, National Visa for Work and Residence

What is the Validity of the Visa?

You can get a Polish work visa for not more than a year. During this time you can apply for a residence and work permit. This is a temporary residence permit that will entitle you to stay and work in Poland for up to three years.

Can I take my family with me?

It is possible to take your immediate family members (spouse and children) when you have a Temporary Residence Permit.

When do i apply for Residence permit?

You can apply for it only when you’re already in Poland. You may start processing the residence and work permit application as soon as possible. This is really important. Polish bureaucracy can be really slow and you cannot apply for a temporary residence permit after your visa expiration date.
